Magic Tricks

This wallet looks and feels really nice. The problem is that mine will light once in a great while on the first strike, but usually about four or even on the fifth strike, and sometimes it even takes more. I went through the Penguin video of how to use it properly, and also went through the dvd that came with the wallet step by step to be sure I was doing everything correctly. Though I was really excited about using this fire wallet, I find it to be $44 dollars of unreliability. If it doesn't light on the first strike, it just can't be used and that is a major deflation of expectation. You can't pull it out and keep striking it and tell someone, "wait a minute," until it FINALLY flames. It just doesn't work like that in the performing world. The card in wallet feature is a good idea, but it doesn't work either. Just inside where you reach for the card is a seam that the card catches on almost every attempt at removing the card. That seam should have been over lapped from the other direction and then sewn and it would have worked. That would have allowed the card to ride over the seam instead of being trapped under the seam. When my striking finger quits hurting from striking this wallet trying to get it to work, I will try again. But let me say this... if I hadn't already purchased this wallet, and know what I know now of its deficiencies, I would have saved my money.
