First off, thanks to the good folks of Penguin for the request. And as a magician who owns just about every good trick on this site (around 20k in tricks) and who is a occasional paid magician soon to be a upgraded paid part time pro magician . I can say that I'm qualified to have an opinion that's worthy.
Sansminds has made some good tricks. They have brong me joy. Distance is a great trick. On/off is good, Touched is good, Pasteboard is good, compresse, caps witch just to name a few are nice tricks. And produced well.
Now let's get to Contrast. It's a train wreck. I really don't understand how someone could say that this is a good trick. It's so loud it sounds like you just let off two shots out of a cap gun. The angle is practically front on 25° because the dbl has a big gap between cards. That's because he says to bend it inward a bit, that makes the big gap, duh. And speaking of what he says/taught. He teaches good but I don't remember him going over what can go wrong. And it will go wrong.
I can't do the trick. I'm 0 for like 50 tries because Aa bad double herky jercky move double knacky move that ends with the gimmick only doing one move and a half a color change, or both moves two slow with a double loud sound or the double move done rite but the gimmick flies out your hand or how about the tape sticking to their card instead of the gimmick which all possible outcomes would be a performance show is over disaster. Oh, it's extremely akward to hold for the move. Thats from someone who does a little xm. And to top things all off. It might rip at any moment from handling it and mines doesn't even work smoothly at all. It barely goes with the gravity. And believe it or not, I got more complaints. Worst gimmick ever that I can think of rite now.

I understand your reservations but think they're misplaced. It took me about five minutes to get the change down, the second change in the alternates is much easier for me. It's one motion not two, otherwise you'll flub the trick. It's NOT self working, you will actually need to practice. The sound is a slight issue but you can get it down so it's not bad in a regular situation or you can change to magicians wax. My gimmick works perfectly, no it won't last forever but no card gimmick will. For me, one of the best purchases of the year.

I hear what you are saying and I say that your reservations are extremely misplaced and sound like a possibility of either one of these three things or a combination of them. Number one: in order for you to actually like this product you must be friends with sansminds. Number two: if you really truly like this, you must be not to educated as a magician and you have a small beginners like magic repitore (unlike my unlimited amount of tricks). Or finally number three: you don't even own this product and just want to comment on my review for some reason I don't know. I say that these are the reasons that you like this product because if it's really for the good in this product then that is very impractical and totally illogical!

How upsetting to read these two reviews. Firstly, Tom from Brooklyn (my home town), what does brong mean? And "MINES doesn't work." What the hell is "mines"? Mines are bombs. Is it really worth missing so much education to be a magician? And Thokus, I can only hope that you're from another country. If you were born here, please go back to school and at least finish junior high school. I have never seen such terrible grammar and writing in my life. The magicians I know are brilliant. Many are Mensa members. Maybe that's why they're so good. (I'm sure you'll have to look up what Mensa is). Please, no more reviews if you can't form a decent sentence. Unless, of course, you're from another country. A big thumbs down to the American education system.
