This ideally should be rated 3/5.

If you like 1950's style children's magic with heaps of props (all of which he tells you how to make or where to buy) - then it's a five star.

But some people may not want that and want 'new' moves or effects that use very few props. Is so, this is not your dvd and Id' rate it a three.

There are also quite a few lines and bits of business that you may or may not like depending on your character.

I really enjoyed the theory and demonstration of routines from perfomers of yesteryear.

To me, this was the gold.

If you want to do something offbeat or update an old effect - this is a good place to go for a starting point.

Anyway, as I said, you mileage may vary... it depends on your show and where you are heading.
