Trick is very visual, and like Rick says you can perform this thing right out of the Box.
One downside is the bills are shiny, however no one is going to believe you used real bills for
such a quick trick anyhow. So I still like it, and I even have made a joke or two when sober adults
ask to examine the bills, I say "of course you can't! Do you know how long it took to get it to look
that good!" a wink or smile after gets a laugh and serves as a good transition to introduce the next
effect.
That's a great response I'll be using anytime somebody asks to examine something. Keeps the atmosphere fun and positive - and keeps me 'in charge'. Thanks for sharing it!
Thank you. I am firm believer that the goal of every magician should be to entertain, not to fool.
If you try to fool your audience you are pitting yourself against them. If you try to entertain your audience instead of tricking them you will find it much easier to get them on your side.
In fact, I would argue that if you try to fool rather than focus on entertainment, you may even make a heckler out of someone who just wanted to be entertained.

I agree 100%. You WILL fool them if it is a good illusion. But your presentation will determine whether they think "whoa, cool" or they heckle you or get grabby with your stuff.
A magic act is a person acting the part of a magician - someone who has magic powers. But everyone knows that magicians don't really have magical powers, so when you try to present like you do, you invite the kind of skepticism and heckling that you can avoid with a more entertaining presentation.
