I love this trick. I only gave it 3 stars because I can't find usable envelopes. Does anyone in the U.S. know where I can find good envelopes for this trick? I bought some from Office max (Office Depot #1 Coin Envelopes), but they're too thick.
I press until my hand cramps and I still can't get an impression clear enough to read.

I have found thinner envelopes at various dollar stores, such as Dollarama here in Canada.

Having said that, we used to wipe some rubbing alcohol on envelopes (turns them transparent) when wanting to read the contents...of course, that was for a different line of employment I had. The alcohol dries fast, and the envelope returns to opaque. Always had a few alcohol pads in my pocket.
