Get up to speed fast.
If you're new to magic you need to know a couple of things before you buy.
First, when you buy a magic trick you're buying two things: the prop and
the secret.
For some tricks most of what you're paying for is a specially machined or
hard to find prop. For others you're paying mostly (sometimes even
entirely) for the secret. Either way, the real value of a magic purchase
comes from performing the effect. For our best advice on picking a trick,

Second, not all magic tricks are equal. There will probably be times in
your magic career that you buy an effect that doesn't work out for you.
We do everything we can to avoid that by carrying only magic tricks and
supplies that we have thoroughly tested and providing you with lots of
information about each trick before you buy.
Third, magic stores have different standards for returns than other types
of retailers. This is because our products are not exactly consumable
goods, they're more like little magic lessons wrapped up and delivered to
your home. Please read our return policy before you buy.
