I stand behind every product I release regardless of where you purchase it. When you buy a Dan
Harlan effect, you get me too! And my support does not stop at the moment of purchase. You may
contact me at any time regarding any issue (just reach out into electrospace to find me). So, if
anyone is having difficulty getting Vortex to play strong, let me know, and I will help you get the

This is a great walk around piece of magic. Gimmicks are well made, and the teaching is very good.
Dan goes into every detail carefully, and even repeats the effect slowly to show you EXACTLY how its
done. Best part of it all is you end almost clean. If your like me, when you get this you will
say, "You don't end clean!" But i was amazed on how the attention is drawn to the "safe area" and i
never have to worry.

Dan did this for me live and I was blown away, it completely fooled me! 2 cards visually fuse
together, this is outstanding visual magic at its best, and it's super easy to do!

So this trick is awesome, simple, effective, visual, startling, and the admission price was worth
the effect. Highly recommended. But seriously, where are the refills? They certainly wouldn’t cost
more than your average gimmick of this type. I wouldn’t pay the money again just for the cards, but
would gladly pay $20 for a deck of refills (like Tornado). C’mon Penguin, let’s be fair. A five
star effect no doubt, checking every box for great visual magic. Minus one star for no refills

It takes a bit of practice..but it works really well and I was able to switch things up to be able
to use it in my shows before I go into my Blindsided by Oz Pearlman. A must by if you do card magic.

This is awesome, some people are downing this trick but maybe is their presentation, all good magic
will work great with a good presentation, the DVD awesome the bonus effects were awesome too, the
teaching he did was great, it took me a little time to get something down but I got it, I practiced
this in front of a mirror and even record myself doing it, Ican say I got it, so I'm taking to to
the movie Theater today to show it off. Dan great job on this one, this is my very first from you
and I'm amazed with it, thanks. Add to cart people

I love this effect! I have all four gimmicks loaded in the four appropriate 'marked' decks, you
magicians/mentalists who have studied this effect would know why I would do this.
I use
this effect as a mind reading effect OR use it a tool to hypnotize someone in less than 10 seconds,
you street hypnotist can probably appreciate this.
This effect is great and wish they had
'refills'! I don't want to have to purchase a dvd every time I need refills but I guess that's the
way it is for now.

I can only echo what others have stated here, fantastic.
You are supplied with not 1, not
2, not 3, but in fact 4 gimmicks. And, three different ways to present it by 3 superb magicians and
their take on it. I don't bother with the entire pack just the two cards.
I use Matt
Johnsons presentation but I use Ricks handling on peeling the cards apart. For me, I really like
Matt's take on it as it's the perfect story line to get somebody emotionally invested in the trick
and it just so happens to go hand in hand with the trick itself. Way to go Matthew!
I
haven't done this yet but I have often wondered if it would be better to reverse engineer the
sequence of events on Matt's handling. Instead, introduce the cards and let the spectators even
handle them, hypnotize them making the queen and the five change places.
Put them away for
a very brief lightening fast moment while looking for another trick in your pocket, put the cards on
a table or somewhere in sight, do the other trick you were searching for, then say something along
the lines of you still look hypnotized or blah, blah, blah whatever and then go into the
vortex/hypnotize phase of Matt's handling.
It seems to me doing it this way it completely
sells the trick that there is no funny business going on. After all, they were just handling the
cards a moment ago. Also, if you like, keep in mind you actually only need one spare 5 and not a
queen and a 5 if you know what I mean.

This is genious ! if you are looking for a card routine when cards mix together this is the best
version out there.
I have been using this for a short time and getting brilliant reactions with
it. you get two well made gimmicks these are not fragile but if you do vortex with 2 cards and
after it vortex with a (full pack) at a magic convention or real world situation it will not be
figured out . also, this has no angle considerations , and I liked this so much , I am looking into
buying other tricks like fax and melting point and Greg Wilson pip streak by p3 but there's more dan
hauss does 2 tricks with this gimmick too.
so not a 1 trick dvd.
