I love this Bicycle deck. The black is a great alternative to red or blue, and adds a bit of elegance to the standard back design. I bought one to try out and will definitely buy a lot more.
I wanted to write a review because a couple of photos supplied by Bicycle could be deceiving. The photos show this deck as part of the multi-colour Rider Back series, which all include bonus gaff cards. There is even a photo showing the black Bicycles with some gaff cards laid out in front of them,
This deck is a standard set of Bicycle cards with black backs and no gaff cards. The tuck case says Standard, not Rider Back, with other differences on the case’s front and back.
Great cards. Just don’t be misled by the photos and think you’re getting anything other than a standard deck.

USPCC prints the black decks to be sold as mainstream (regular retail) decks like the red and blue rider back decks. That's why there are no gaffs. These were designed to be sold to non-magicians. As another reviewer noted, the tuck boxes are marked "Standard" rather than "Rider Back", identical to the design of the red and blue Bicycle decks at grocery stores and drug stores.

Advantage #1: if a spectator asks where you got them, you can easily say something like "Walgreens" and mention that they come in packs of four with two red and two black decks (which is absolutely true, in case anyone checks up on you).

Advantage #2: while you don't get the gaffs, you do get the regular two jokers (one color, one b/w). None of the other special color decks have color jokers, and only the gold and silver decks come with two jokers (both b/w). That's something to keep in mind if you're assembling sets for tricks with color-changing reveals that involve jokers (eg Sizzle, Restless Colors, Double Chameleon), especially if you want to use full color jokers.

I got this deck a long time ago. I used it for maybe a month (on and off) and they lasted a very long time! And the color of the deck looks really cool! They aren't much different than regular bicycles, but still good. The black looks really good as a back color. BUY NOW!

I'm a big fan of collecting Bicycle cards, so for me this is a good purchase. They are fun, people talk about them, and they can be very entertaining to use for a poker night, game night, etc.

I warn AGAINST using any unnatural looking cards for performing magic. Many people think it makes them look unique, which it does, but not in the good way they may think. It bring unnecessary skepticism and awkwardness from your spectators who may think even normal looking cards can be faked.

I urge you to not use designer cards for any serious magic performance.
