One of the best mentalism effects I own. Can be performed close-up or platform for 1 to four
participants. Packs small, plays huge and is a real fooler. Once you own the effect and understand
the concept, you can create your own renditions in various sizes with customized images. Comes very
highly recommended.

I'm almost hesitant to write this review because I wanted to keep this one to myself but this is
just simply too good not to share. A very unique mentalism effect because it plays huge for both
children and adults. It packs small and is definitely one of magic's best kept secrets. Priced far
too low for the props and concepts you receive. Very easy to do allowing you to focus on the
audience and your presentation. Most mentalism effects are too confusing for children to understand
and require a lot of interaction before the performer reads the mind of a single spectator. This
one allows you to read the minds of up to four spectators consecutive and instantly with no
questions asked. Sounds too good to be true. Doesn't it?

Took me forever to figure this thing out. Instructions are simple, but for the life of me, I could
not make sense of it. Finally, after about 7 read-thrus, it clicked.
The effect is cute,
don't know how strong it plays (I haven't performed it many times, yet), but it's entertaining,
packs flat and takes about 3 seconds to reset. Good walk-around fun. Also, the quality is excellent.
It's just four laminated slips of paper, but the artwork is very nice.

This is a great mentalism trick for kids. I recommend, as I have seen suggested, that the magician
act out, or if you have the skill and time, create a balloon figure of, the animal that the child
has thought of, as part of your reveal.
The underlying method/principle could be used to
create your own cards and routines with different objects or items besides animals. I know a
magician who did so, creating Halloween themed cards to perform at a Halloween haunt.
4
stars, because I did have a problem with the laminated cards being printed and/or laminated a little
off center. Penguin quickly sent a replacement set, but it too had a misprinted card. Luckily, the
misprinted cards in the two sets were different cards, so between the 2 sets I could come up with
one complete set of good cards. So the manufacturer needs to address quality control.
This is a simple trick to do, and one of the few good mentalism for kids tricks, but still deceptive
to the audience. You can do it for 1, 2, 3 or 4 people. I plan to use it.
However, one of
the 4 animal cards that came with it was misprinted, and I had to get a new one sent from Penguin,
which it did replace. Seems to be a quality control with the plastic coated animal cards.
It's a very good trick, with four people, and Danny Archer is a very good Creator, and kind person.
