This is one of the best card magic books I've read in years. Two of the routines, "Think of One,"
and "The Mirror" are terrific and will fool anybody. Superb card magic in an extremely well written
book. This is professional caliber card magic. One of my best purchases ever.

Of Course books have their place preserving magic historic documentation

Yes I still purchase books periodically not as much as I did back in the day 70's 80's In fact
I amassed an over the top collection that would choke a few whales!
I'm involved in several arts
disciplines
Back in time when
one couid only imagine what masters as Robert houdin Okito
ect what they were trying to convey through written text???
I know this prominent
musician he is world famous I will keep his anonymity undisclosed I asked him how did those
classical orchestra's hundreds of years ago tune up precisely As no precision electronic
calibration instruments to tune up precise were non existent???
He Answered me --- they
weren't in tune ! It's such a privilege to see Mr Allan Kronzek actually performing and explaining
his creation !
Which is absolutely one of my favorites effects ever !

There is no way on Earth anyone can try to fool me
by telling me the king wears no clothes story that one can learn an art form from books 📚 without
misinterpreting and deciphering clearly what authors from a hundred years were trying to convey
precisely !
'The Emperor's New Clothes' is a short tale written by Hans Christian Andersen and
published in 1837. ... The moral of this story is that we can't let pride keep us from speaking up
when we know the truth.
A video tutorial and instructional are way more Superior! Sure books
have their place in history as an antiquated form of documentation !
I'm not advocating that
there should be a
Eradication of books movement as occurs periodically throughout history !
But
As the saying goes
" In the land of the blind Cyclops is
King!"

This is not a huge book with dozens of tricks. There are basically 8 plus a great presentation of
the bill change. What you do get is a book that is much better written than the average magic book.
Nice clear descriptions of some good card effects. All can be done by most magicians, and some are
very easy to perform. I especially like his detail on the scripts and presentations that make the
effects that much better. There are a couple of things in here I will use for sure, which makes it
a bargain. I have spent a lot more on thick books with nothing practical in them.
An apt title for this book since the effects are simple (in terms of minimal slights) yet artfully
choreographed raising them to the level of theater. The emphasis here is on the presentation which
transform "tricks" into a sense of wonder, surprise and mystery. Mr. Krondeck's concise theoretical
introduction captures succinctly the essence of the magical experience; he then proceeds to put his
premise into practice with 9 lovely magical performances.
