This is hard for me. I got this on pre order and spoke to Richard who said i would be the first to
use this at a gig other than himself. It did not go great and the two women both got the wrong card.
I put this down to picking the wrong people.
Have tried this several times since, going slower
and slower and still i have people getting the wrong suit. I think if you are around cards as we are
it is obvious but for the public, we take it for granted they will know the card and identify it.
Unfortunately i cannot have something in my set that is not foolproof and so it is reluctantly
coming out.
This is a great concept and maybe if you get this you will find things different but
for me, i have got to pass.

This is a fully gimmicked deck, so you can’t hand it out. The design on the back of the cards is
cool, but it is not a Bicycle deck or a recognizable design, (at least not in the United States - it
is a product from the U.K., so perhaps it’s a recognizable design there, I don’t know). My points
being here that you obviously can’t hand any of the deck out for inspection or spectator use, and
you won’t be able to clandestinely switch this deck for any Bicycle deck you may be using.
This
comes with some extra cards to facilitate different uses for the deck. Without giving away too much,
I wish they would’ve provided an additional handful of the type of cards that are largest in number
in the deck. I can’t say more than that without being more specific. But if you want to limit the
number of force cards, (to one or two), you’ll be dealing with a deck that is very obviously not a
full deck of cards. They provide a suggestion on how to use the other cards given and “fix” that
issue, but it isn’t as fool proof a handling as it is if you are using all of the force cards, (7
available choices of force cards at any given time).
For the price, I think they could’ve added
another 15 or so gimmicked cards to facilitate further customization, (for example, those who want
to use it as a “no hands” or “over video” ‘tossed out deck’ and limit the number of force cards.
The cards are decent quality. They feel somewhat similar to Bicycles, but there are differences.
They are cleverly printed and I think it’s a great idea. I just wish they would’ve provided more
cards for customization and it would’ve been nice if they were on Bicycle cards.
