It's shiny as hell, so if you were to use it with pennies it could look a bit odd because even uncirculated pennies don't shine that much. It's shinier than a brand new copper bullion too.

Me, I use it as color change with Ike dollars without according any thoughts to what it really is, other than a big reddish coin. I just find the difference between this and a silver or nickel coin is super visual.

It's the exact same diameter as a US Ike dollar, which is great and sometimes quite hard to find if you want something else than Chinese coins that all have a hole in the middle.

It's made of metal. Would have been awesome if it was made with copper, but it seems and feels more like some sort of coating. It doesn't feel and smell that little something like all copper coins do. I tried to scrape off a bit of it using a knife, but didn't manage to get to its real color, so I believe it's durable.

Engraving on the Head side is pretty thick, which I don't like as much. It would give you a hard time in an Okito Box or other props.

It has a smooth edge. It doesn't handle and grip as well as an Ike dollar. But it's not the worst I've seen. It weights about 16g, so it's lighter than an Ike dollar. But it's decent.

I think I'll carry it in my wallet for some months and see if it ages well. Or maybe sand paper it a bit. I'll see.

When it comes to transpos this is a great coin! Color changes and spell bounds are brilliant in all sorts of lighting, thanks to the high gloss.
Every street worker knows size matters and that jumbo coins are one of the strongest and cheapest weapons on the market. Studied storytellers know to be succesful in lore there must be a beginning, a middle, and an end.
This fits in there nicely somewhere out there.
This coin has been in my working set for at least twelve years if not more. I’m writing this as I purchase yet another.(2nd this month! I could really use a masterclass on pocket management)

Just what I was looking for.

This product is very shiny. That is my only complain. It looks like a toy prop rather than a regular penny that expanded to a larger size. Otherwise, this coin is very well made.
