Get ready to spend four exciting classes with internationally-acclaimed memory expert (mNemonist), SarahElla Phant, co-creator of the best selling "The Memory Arts" books, and creator of the 3 Fundamentals of mNemonics Series. SarahElla's vivid art and charming teaching-style make learning memory techniques fun, engaging, and intuitive.

With SarahElla's personal guidance, you will learn how to use mnemonics to amp up your performance, and change your life. Whether you are completely new to the art of memory, or a seasoned mnemonist yourself, this class is for everyone! The series of classes will include:

Class 1: Introduction to mNemonics - Create Your Memory Path

By the end of the class you will have mastery over your own memory path of watercolor images, created by SarahElla to be impossible to forget. You will also gain understanding of how to incorporate that Path into your life (and your show), with an introduction to SarahElla's favorite memory routine, The Amazingest Memory Test (an adaptation of Corinda's "Amazing Memory Test").

Class 2: A Well-Worn Path - Named and Numbered

The second class delves further into your memory path's potential, combining other visual mnemonic techniques, developed across the globe over millennia and honed by SarahElla. By the end of the class, you will be able to easily memorize names and numbers, and with just a little practice, will be ready to do so endlessly and effortlessly under show conditions.

Class 3: However you stack it - Memdeck Intro

Learn how to use the techniques you already know to memorize a deck of playing cards, be it shuffled, stacked, or stirred.

Class 4: Don't forget - Review

SarahElla teaches how to review the mnemonic techniques taught in the first three classes, while also discussing how to use these same memory techniques to learn and develop routines, show order, scripting, and so much more!

Class Supplies:
- I'll send weekly printouts before class. Ideally, these should be printed, but at least, these "notes" (mostly images) need to be ready and able to view on a separate device.
- Your preferred writing utensil

Class Policies

It is mandatory that all students have a working video camera and leave it on for the duration of each class.

These sessions are not to be recorded. Please do not use Zoom’s recording feature, or third-party recording software to store these classes for later viewing.

Registration can be cancelled or changed until 5 days prior to the class start date. If you are purchasing classes as a gift, it is your responsibility to inform us of the recipient’s name during checkout or by emailing support@penguinmagic.com. Late cancellations, transfers, name changes cannot be accommodated after the cancellation/change cutoff date.
