With SarahElla's personal guidance, each lesson will teach core mnemonic concepts and explore fundamental aspects of theater as applied to magic performance. SarahElla’s vivid art and charming teaching-style make learning intuitive and enjoyable, ensuring that you receive the valuable information you crave. The series of lessons include:

Lesson 1: Path to Success

SarahElla explores the versatility of one of her all-time favorite memory routines, “The Amazingest Memory Test.” She also teaches you how to structure your performance/act/show to best fit your desired purpose, creating the most memorable impact for your participants.

Lesson 2: mNemonitize Your Show

SarahElla explores multiple, exciting ways to incorporate mnemonics into your magic performance, including: Scripting, names, numbers, and more!

Lesson 3: However You Stack It - Memdeck Intro

Take your Memdeck performance to the next level as you learn various fascinating ways to present a stack... both with and without a deck of cards. Not only will you gain the knowledge you need to memorize your own stack with ease, you will also learn endless ways to customize your presentation.

Lesson 4: Magic and Beyond

Your final lesson contains the mnemonic approach to performing “The Knight’s Tour,” and solidifies the many concepts explored in the first three lessons. With the knowledge you’ve acquired in SarahElla’s “Big Memory Stunts,” you’ll discover applications to every aspect of your performance and life. Supplies needed:
- SarahElla sends weekly notes for each lesson. Ideally, these notes should be printed, but at least,have them readily accessible on a separate device.

Class Policies

It is mandatory that all students have a working video camera and leave it on for the duration of each class.

These sessions are not to be recorded. Please do not use Zoom’s recording feature, or third-party recording software to store these classes for later viewing.

Registration can be cancelled or changed until 5 days prior to the class start date. If you are purchasing classes as a gift, it is your responsibility to inform us of the recipient’s name during checkout or by emailing support@penguinmagic.com. Late cancellations, transfers, name changes cannot be accommodated after the cancellation/change cutoff date.
