The flint flasher is fabulous. I’m currently using it playing Mr. Applegate in Damn Yankees.
Surprises the heck out of the audience and it’s great fun for me. I use three of them in the show.
You can buy it at so many different places, but you wanna get it from Penguin. They have
competitive prices, very fast shipping, and you can see they personally care about every order. They
even email you a video of them packing your box personally. I may never again have a need to perform
magic in my career, but if I ever do, I’m buying from Penguin.
I also ordered flash paper
and flash cotton from them, and everything has worked like a charm.
Bravo and thank you
guys!

This piece is, after years of crap units that fell apart at the cup/flint cylinder weld, a pleasant
return to the the days of craftsmanship work. Working quality all around including the paint. I've
very satisfied.

Very well made and will last for years. Add flash cotten and sparkle additive for a great flash and
a little extra for productions and disappearances.

Very minimal flash with flash cotton. Returned.
I was excited to receive this Flint Flasher, and wasn't disappointed. Shipping was slow, but I knew
this ahead of time. The product is great, and works every time - it's very reliable!
ALSO,
Penguin sent me a quick video of them PACKING my order as they were shipping it out - this is an
OUTSTANDING and adorable value-add - and it will have me trusting Penguin and ordering more in the
future.
Thanks Penguin!!
All you need is a small wad of Flash Paper and some Flash Cooton as a topper and you will produce
FIRE 🔥 from your seemingly empty hand.
Used these for years and I've always liked them.
This is a decent gimmick. Well-made and strong, and it does what it is supposed to do. Wish there
was a video but it just has paper instructions. They are pretty basic and I guess, so is the
operation of the gimmick -- but it seems like everything has videos these days, so yeah.
You'll definitely need flash cotton for the flint flashers work. The directions say it works with
flash paper, but I didn't find that to be true. Even with flash cotton, the consistency of ignition
is about 7/10. The unit is compact and the flint seems to spark well enough. Flash cotton along
with the sparking dust provides a superb effect. The price is right for what you get.
Been using theses since the 70s.
