Incredible hook! All snippets are very entertaining! There's not a lot of secrets discussion but man, this is wildly hilarious. I've been laughing by myself in the middle of my family while they watch a movie. AND IT WAS FREE!!

First of all, Thank you Penguin for this gift. This Remix has a couple of good routines but Wayne Houchin wins the first prize, his drawing trick is absolutely amazing with a lots of details but the best part is to understand his thinking process. Thank you again

Very enjoyable the video starts out with some performances from some of their favorite magicians without any explanations or reveals then in the second part you shall get some performances with explanations but if you're like me and have watched a lot of Penguins live shows you may not learn anything new but in the third part you are taught a trick called drawing to impossible location and I must say it's well worth the price of admission that is if you had to pay for it you can easily make the props and with no sleight of hand anyone could do it great for stage or parlor or even a group of three friends this is definitely something I'm going to use Thanks Penguin magic.

The compilation really good. The message about the new future format left me with some mixed feelings. I'm afraid it could get too serious. The moment Eric Tait commented on the lugers joke I realized what I had missed since he took over: humor and spontaneity. Which, by the way, was no monopoly of Dan Harlan.

The compilation shows that these elements were the secret ingredient of the whole Penguin Live history. Now add the anouncement at the end to this insight. Please, Penguin, do not make the new Live experience even more serious and pre-planned.

Especially in comparison to all online formats out there, none of which ran so long as the Penguin Live so far, without humor and spontaneity your unique selling point will be gone.

I really enjoyed watching this download. I read the description, so I didn't expect to learn everything on the video. I just enjoyed watching the performances. It was a bonus that some of the effects were discussed.

The 2022 Holiday Special is a wonderful gift. It opens with some impressive effects and zany antics - a balloon being popped to produce a bottle of wine, David Williamson being himself, and a card transporting to The Penguin sitting next to Dan Harlan. None of these effects are taught on this holiday special. Tom Bergoon's balloon bag routine, Christ Carter's billet routine, Gaeton Bloom's use of the inexhaustible sponge, and Wayne Houchin's drawing to impossible location are taught. We are also treated to anecdotes from Harry Anderson, bloopers from Mario The Maker, puns from Kyle Purnell, and the clean up that occurs from a manipulation routine. There's an announcement that the lectures will be less frequent and other changes are forthcoming.

This is a great, great clip show or best of. Years in review. Bits of some of the best live lectures and performances over the years at Penguin. Really enjoy watching this. Makes you want to purchase the full lecture and performances when seeing bits of your favorite magician or one you’re introduced to. This and the awards show was well produced and a great watch. I hope Penguin continues to make content like this and I’ll continue to support.

Definitely recommend giving this one a watch. It’s like a Best Of or Clip Show.

Great fun, great magic! I especially liked the Wayne Houchin routine. My 12 year old son is the magician; I'm the enthusiast. I can see him trying that one. The billet routine by Mr. Carter was very interesting. Such good 'acting'; so much fun. I have the Williamson lecture, but it is such a hoot to see him in action. My son does material we have learned from Penguin Live: Mark James, Rachel Colombini, Andy Nyman. Keep up the good work and thank you all for this video!

Very enjoyable to watch real pros in the performance of a magic presentation. It sets a high bar for all of us to take adequate time and patience to practice , and hone our skills to mystify our audience. Also, listening to the pros, not just on how a trick is performed, but, the art of the presentation, makes for an enjoyable performance. Both for the audience and the performer. A magician should not just do a “trick”, it should be wholly entertaining in patter and body language, as well. Penguin Magic presents quality education with their videos.
