Great quality! It's got a lot of shim material in it. I had a shimmed card made a while ago at a local magic shop, and it wasn't that great. This one, I put my M5 under a table, and I can put this shimmed card easily halfway down the deck for a haunted deck effect, and it easily cuts the deck in half. If you do any PK effects, this is where to get your shimmed cards from. Not a bad price either.

In terms of magnet magic, there are a lot of possibilities; you can do feats of magic that you couldn't do ANY other way. In a way, magnets are as close as we can get to REAL magic.

As far as this shimmed card goes, there are no routines laid out for you. You either have to know one or be creative. However, due to the nature of magnets, creating your own routine would be REALLY easy. These things are truly an unlimited source of creativity.

The ONLY con to these things is the price. 10 dollars is pretty steep for what you get; however the creative potential is limited only by your imagination.

Recommended.

Great with the Raven Report this review

If you own the Raven, the Bat, or other PK stuff, then shimmed cards are a great addition. A few things you can do with these are changing one card into another right in the spectators hand, vanishing the card, or even making it spin in their hands. For anyone familiar with the Raven, just make sure you practice a lot because it's a lot easier to get caught with these as apposed to a coin.
