I had bought two copies of the original what tha. The first one I got was great while the second
and the replacement was coated with some kind of glue that would never come off.
When this came
out I had high hopes. Unfortunately, my hopes were quickly dashed. First, the original had a good
fit like a nice thumb tip. This...well...I don't know what this was made from (my best guess is a
cheap 3d printer) but it does not fit my finger like the original. It appears it is too big.
My second gripe is this has NONE of the charm of the original creation. The first one you had
no clue what it was and that was the fun of it. This one, it looks like a sick bird. Again, no
charm like the original.

I own the first version of this and absolutely loved it. My only issue was the glue became tacky on
mine. This has completely been alleviated with the new version; this is a single mold with no parts
stuck on. It has also been hand painted.
Very simple sleights allow you to vanish with
numerous kids grabbing at your arms to get a better glimpse.
You can pluck Nargles out of
Harry Potter fans's hair. Maybe it is a baby snipe to add more realism to your next snipe hunt. It
could even be a mouse you found on the salad bar resulting in a free meal. :)
Great EDC
for an on the spot effect for all ages that will have them asking for a second look.
Original review: You spend months working on a knuckle busting 4 phase card routine and after
performing it flawlessly the trick they remember from your set is the one with the sponge bunnies.
What Tha is another one of those infuriating gems.
Is it a bird? Is it a gremlin? Is it
a baby Skettis from the Dark Crystal? Who knows?
Be ready to be asked to perform this
again. Be ready to be asked to show this to the wife. Be ready to be annoyed when you run into
someone a year later and they still remember the bird thingie and none of your other effects.

I’m a full time magician, and let me tell you, this is the real deal. My personal EDC. I’ve worn out
10 of the originals, so I ordered two. This one will never wear out. I do it at school shows for the
children that help me pack out. I do it in bars, restaurants, company picnics. It always gets a big
response. I have a killer presentation with it, I’ll share if anyone asks. Get this now before they
fly away forever!

I’ve never seen anything get reactions like Wha-Tha 2. Looks like a baby bird….. or is it a mouse…..
or is it some kind of prehistoric small animal. What the heck is it? People’s eyes pop out when it
appears and vanishes. They jump. They scream. Kids want to hold it and pet it. Restaurants will run
you out for bringing an animal in and causing a commotion. You might even get a free meal out of it.
Want to mess with a dog’s or cat’s head? Wha-Tha 2 is for you. It’s an illusion, magic trick, and
practical joke rolled all in to one.
I like this new design, because the feathers are
permanent. You don’t have to worry about the feathers falling off any more. This Wha-Tha 2 will out
last you. GH

Overall, I think the new version of this gimmick will outshine the previous model. I used the first
version quite a bit— to the point the decorations wore off (they were glued on). This version is
sculpted out of one piece! If the details rub off of this one, you may need to stop carrying
sandpaper in your pockets.
The color on this new one is good, but I added a little paint (just
to pop some details at a glance)— but I like to add my own personal touch to my props anyway. The
finger hole seems a tad bigger than the first, but some foam makes the fit just right! Altogether,
the fact that the outside won’t rub off in my pocket FAR outweighs any tweaks I had to make. I
really like the new version! Well done!

I own the first version of this and loved it, but over time it got wore out in my pocket.
With this new design Rodger made, I wont have to worry about that anymore! Fits great on my finger,
easy to use, easy to ditch, and great instructions!
This is my go to on walk around gigs and
just for having fun in public!! Highly recommend!

Received my two What Tha II last week and have performed it maybe a dozen times. The reactions I
have been getting are just as good as with the original, maybe better. With the original I often had
people ask if it was a bird, but so far with this one it is always "What was that?"
One
plus I give to this version is that they seem more durable and will last longer. No feathers to come
off and no glue. I always carried the original in a TT in my pocket. I don't think I'll need that
with this one.
