I got this as a free download. It is merely an updated version of the first "card rise" every child
learns. However, Schaller adds a "gimmick" to make this more magical looking. It is a worthy
update to an outdated trick.
I highly recommend checking this one out.

This would not work in real world performing. Anyone that sees the box would know. A switch is
needed if you got away with this trick.

I recommend this. Don't be put off by it costing nothing, the gimmick really is very clever, easy to
construct and hides in plain sight. I made one in about 15 minutes and you can use it as a regular
card box, then do the rising card effect whenever you feel like it. I fooled a couple of magician
friends with it as it's a regular deck and there's no holes in the card case.

New is well forgotten old. This trick is a well reworked old version. I liked it. I will definitely
do it for myself. I recommend!
Bom, mas poderia ser melhor.
This clever gaff is easy to make, handle, is well camoflauged, and will allow any chosen card from a
normal deck to rise from the the cardbox as it pops open the flap. An animation sans thread or
magnets. It has additional uses and one which exites me is a card vanishing from the deck-travelling
to a previously shown as empty cardbox. It can be used as the first effect with a Devano deck. More
ideas will arrive if you get this. Teaching is extremely detailed and thorough. The one limitation
seems to be the kind of box design that is used. I use new Bicycles but also less commercial looking
cards. At a short distance, I doubt that the gaffing will be noticable if another box/design is
used. I think the concept and it's potential uses are very valuable and what little cinstruction
work is invloved will be well worth it.
And the price was right.. Really liked this and will try it..
The best rising card out there. In depth explanation and great idea. It is $0.00. It should be
15.00!!!😄
I like the effect and the concept is simply brilliant. You will have a bit of preparation to do but
it is worth it. The "gimmick" is indectable and fool-proof. You can hand it out for inspection and
it would never be noticed. The video is good and Kevin is a pretty good teacher. Don't expect
anything professional, but for free magic it's simply stunning!!!
The only downside is that
for buyers outside the U.S. (like myself) this effect cannot be done. In Canada (where I am from)
the boxes are made differently and had a different design, so the gimmick won't work. You can
always buy card boxes online, but you'd have to pay 10 bucks just in shipping. So for buyers
outside of the U.S. I wouldn't really recommend this effect to. Use the original method instead.
It won't be as clean, but it would work.
But check it out anyway, after all it is free
and the gimmick will make you smile :)
