Torch thru arm is a much better effect than its predacessor candle thru arm. You can show the tube empty before AND after performance. However a warning to anyone who does this to another person, make sure you wrap a cloth napkin over their arm or they WILL get burned a tad. It's not pleasant.

In our shows we put a lot of performance into it. On the surface it's just a torch going thru someone's arm, but when you put your own spin on it, it's a great effect.

Ok, the quality of the make is very sturdy and good as far as I can tell. This trick can not be examined by any spectator, and you can't do this trick on a spectator unless there working for you. The outside of the tube is a velvet type and i'm hoping it won't singe or burn when I actually put flame to it. Overall should be a good illusion, works just like I thought it would. Can't wait for an instructional video to make sure im doing it right, oh yea the instructions with it are a bit hard to understand and a bit vague, but I say if you like this trick and have the money get it. 3stars out of 5 for quality, effect, & the movie willow :).

How can they lie so blatantly for the description???? There is NO WAY the "spectator" can "examine" the tube whatsoever!!! The tube CANNOT be shown empty without having the candle going thru it. Anyone who even CASUALLY looks thru the tube without the candle going thru it will IMMEDIATELY know how the trick is done. Sad! VERY DECEPTIVE description. To try and sell something by deception, especially items like magic tricks which cannot be returned once purchased because part of the value is in the trick, descriptions should be very accurate when describing what can and can't be done.

I purchased this effect a few years ago, it's made by Tora magic and it works good as a torch thru arm, good quality, etc, but not as it was originally advertised as a dove production.There is no way to fit a dove inside, I even tried a very small, young one, However,I was able to produce silks from it after doing the torch through arm trick,and then produce a dove from the silks.The description is misleading. You cannot do this with a volunteer and you can only show it empty by sticking the torch up through it but you can't show the inside.

The tube that u put the "spectator's" arm in is NOT examable. The directions aren't too clear but otherwise, a great trick. It gives a big affect.
