One star is still too much. When I watched the video, I asked myself, if Penguinmagic released it as
an April joke. This is an unusable pipedream.
As a working magician with over 35 years of stage
experience, I know one thing for sure: "What can go wrong, will go wrong!"
If a spectator
touches the paper, you're busted.
I still can't believe, I paid for that. End of review.

Has been said before don't think the set up is worth the result. Easier ways to to get the same
outcome

Interesting idea, but it requires the magician to handle the billet a little too much for my taste.
The stapling also feels a little superfluous and unnecessary. I will not use this.

I'd say that this method is the most convoluted and complicated way to do Acidus Novus I've ever
seen. Handing out the card (gimmicked) afterwards, is asking for inspection.

The method for peaking the information inside the stapled billet is very clever and usable. However
you can't leave the spectator with the stapled billet after the effect is over which I found
disappointing. Stapling the billet in the first place adds a dramatic element of impossibility to
the effect and I feel that the spectators would want to look at it after the prediction is made.
That being said, as a seasoned magician I will find use for this method. Dee Christopher goes over
the construction of the gimmick as well as how to use it in great detail. The thing that the
download lacks is how to give a proper performance of the effect. He does show you a full
performance of stapled however he doesn't go over how to present the effect to the spectator once
you have made your peak and know the name of the person. For that reason if you're new to mentalism
I would stay away from this one. However, if you have been doing mentalism for a long time and you
want to add a new peak to your arsenal that is very clever then add to cart.

It's an interesting idea but has a lot of disadvantages that the center tear does not. I won't be
using it. Learn a center tear and you will be far better off.

I was interested in seeing if this would be worth adding to my arsenal.
The method is
unique but painstaking.
As a working pro, I don't have time to make the necessary materials
to do the effect.
I go from gig to gig and if I run out, then I can't do the "stapled"
effect (with word of mouth, future audiences will be anticipating this) which in turn is a let down
for future clients.
Also the stapler and the staples take up pocket space that I would
much rather have something else in.
This isn't the HOLY GRAIL you all are looking for.
Yes it's impossible to the eyes of laymen...but I just don't have the time to sit down and make
the items required all day just to read someone's mind.
If you are really (and I mean
REALLY) perfect in DIY projects, this is something for you.
Otherwise, not so skilled
craftsman like myself and probably many of you will be severely disappointed.
This will
NEVER replace any billet switch or CT that I currently use.

I'm not a fan of this one. Lucky me I got it at the introduction price. If you want to get this one,
be aware that this is not a relacement for a nice center tear: It will require the same amount of
manipulation from your part and the effect is almost the same. However with Stapled you need to
construct the gimmick (you need one gimmick for each performance) and also you need to carry a
stapler with you.
I will stay with the center tear.

This is GREAT, just a bit too arts and craftsy for me. That said, you get everything you need in the
download and everything was covered in detail. Another great effect from Dee Christopher, just not
for me.
so I love the secret and for only five dollars it’s pretty much worth it.
The one thing I don’t
like is the instructional video it to me wasn’t very clear on how to set up this effect but through
some trial and error you should be able to figure it out
Overall pretty good purchase definitely
would recommend
