I purchased both the full dollar and half dollar coins to use with the Optiks and Visualies gaff
cards. The gaff uses what Mechanic Industries (MI) calls the "Grinder" coin. I searched high and
low for a U.S. company that carried the Grinder but it seems like the only place it is available is
the MI site in the U.K. So, I purchased this coin in place of the Grinder and so far no one has
noticed the difference between this coin and the Grinder which is used on the Visualies gaff card.
The coin feels great in the hand and makes sleights very smooth and easy. It's hefty and well
balanced. In fact, I've incorporated the half dollar coin into another trick I perform.
If you
want great coins for your coin routines, order a few of these and you won't be disappointed. Well
done MI!

I love coin magic. In my 45 plus years as a coin magician, I have always used Kennedy halves and
Morgan dollar coins. Not usually a fan of anything else, until now. These coins by Mechanic
Industies are a joy to use. The weight, milling, and finish are so nice. I originally ordered the
dollar size, but, love them so much that I just ordered 6 more in the half dollar size.
