Holes is a really nice effect. I have talked to a few magicians who ordered it and were disappointed with the method, but I was not disappointed at all. I think that the main reason my friends were disappointed is because they expected the method to be more clever or even more complex. It is actually quite simple, but it does require a little practice to do it smoothly.

Does it look in person like it does in the demo trailer? YES! Can you hand the card out for examination afterwards? YES! There is a little sleight of hand required to hand the card out to be examined, but it isn't difficult. It is much easier than you may imagine.

Can this be done by beginners? YES! BUT, and this is a BIG BUT, it does require some practice to make it look like magic. It requires a good presentation to be most effective. You need some experience with audience control to ensure that the secret move is not seen by the spectators, but this advice applies to MOST tricks. Even the very simple and self-working effects look more like real magic and become more entertaining when you put in the time and effort to really practice until you can do it in your sleep and in developing a good presentation.

Done properly HOLES can be a real brain buster. The video explains everything clearly and is easy to follow.
