Not the greatest magic trick, but a great demonstration of physics and Lenz's law. When I first got
this, I played with it for hours because it was so cool. This would be perfect for a school
teacher, the students would love it.

Show those physicists what you're made of. Slow gravity down in front of your audience's faces.

As a teacher I use this in class to discuss gravity on the moon versus gravity on Earth. As a
magician this is wonderful for young and old! Regardless of age everyone is mystified by this trick.

Great "trick" (note the quotes). There is a real physical phenomenon at work here, meaning that
knowing how it works is not disappointing (as is too often the case with magic tricks). Incredibly
easy to perform, and can be done over and over again.

Newton's Nightmare is a really good trick to perform, and it's really fun too. Whether you are
taking science, teaching science, or none of the above, this is an amazing trick and a good gag too.
While making the "bet" be confident. They will be unable to catch it (at least most of the time) but
you will always. Don't anticipate catching it though. I like to wait for the drop, then I cover my
mouth and yawn, and then bring my hand down to catch it. If you are looking for a different type of
trick that is fun to perform and guaranteed to get some good reactions, then pick this one up.

This is a lot of fun and very little slight of hand is required to perform it well. It works by
itself and is fun to mess around with or to freak people out. You will have fun with and the price
is nice so add to cart.

I use this as an attention getter for teaching science. Beginners will pick this up quickly. Good
quality for the price. Certainly worth it as an opener.

Great effect with a science based twist that does fool people.

Bought this to demonstrate electromagnetic theory for my high school and home school physics
students. It is a wonderful illusion. Totally baffled them, and got them THINKING! Now, I know I
violated the rules because I TOLD them it was an illusion...and made them do research to figure out
just how it could possibly work. Engendered a GREAT discussion, much debate, they tried real hard
to make it an air pressure reaction, even though we were discussion electricity and magnetism...he
he he...they now are madly digging through their text, the Net, etc. to try to figure out just how
it works. The best part, they are totally excited about "Figuring it out". Excellent teaching
tool. It has my wife totally baffled, too. She thinks her husband is simply "magical". So it is
good all round! Kudos
and thanks for bringing this to my attention. Now I want to develop a
whole routine for my HS students. You guys ROCK!
