Not the method I had thought t would be. Easier to prepare than expected but not sure how practical
this will be. Will be testing today. My feeling is this works better on red backed cards. That
being said, for the price you can’t complain. If I find this in Tarbell I am gonna kick myself! ;)
I am the original reviewer and have spent more time with this.
* gimmick has a 3 minute window
* if you miss that window, I can't see how you could use the same card, as it would be "altered" from the previous attempt.
* gimmick is extremely fragile and handling between cards seems unlikely. Break needed between cards would need to be excessive.
In my opinion, this would be difficult to use this in any context. The gimmick stays invisible for <3 minutes, and if you reset the gimmick, the card can't be forced, because it is already damaged from the last application. Card swells and leaves damage showing on the opposite side.
The handling of the gimmick is also impractical. Having to keep a mile wide break to make sure you don't damage your extremely fragile gimmick is not workable.
Someone should have spent some time with this to make it at least marginally practical. I like the idea, I just think it should have been matured.
I have some ideas I will be exploring around this, so it was worth the money for the inspiration.
