The word "magic" implies that the extra-ordinary is happening. It's an experience, not a
demonstration. Too many times, "magicians" learn the secret and forget that they now know how to let
people experience "magic". They perform it in some off-the-cuff, tongue-in-cheek way that telegraphs
to everyone that they are just performing a "trick" to fool them.
If you want to perform this
that way, it sucks. Go do another "card-flap" routine.
But, if you want to do REAL magic, the
kind that makes people feel that forces exist outside the realm of possible, this is definitely one
of those rare gems that is worth ten times the price of admission.
