I love the teaching video. I love the idea. I am impressed with the design and the passion of
Magma's creator. But the device simply does not work. At all. Zero. The first one arrived and I
tried everything I could think of, but it wouldn't turn on. Penguin sent me a replacement. That
one didn't work either. I sent it back, and Penguin sent me another replacement which I just
received today. Same problem. Three in a row that don't turn on at all. I would absolutely love to
change this rating to 5 stars if I could just get one device that actually turns on!!! I know what
you are thinking - maybe it is user error. That's what I kept wondering, but look, this isn't
rocket science. You charge it, you slide the switch to on, and you hold in the button. There's no
room for user error. The device simply does not work and I am beyond frustrated with it. Penguin
is and has been awesome, but I can't recommend a product that is defective three times in a row.
I just got this and I have the same issue, just doesn't work. I feel the same exact way...I love the idea and in theory this device would be great but I'm wondering if I get a replacement that does work, how long until it stops. Just doesn't seem to be well made.
Come to think of it, I got this from the open box...maybe it's one of the ones you returned lol!
Sounds like kyle m put out a real peice of cheese. I know the one i had worked for a week or so.and stopped after ten trys . it just wasn't made right, for this money, you would think its a great product and durable. But its. Very cheap.maybe if he remakes this.it would be best.
I don't think you even know to to charge it or use it.
