This is honestly one of the coolest devices I ever bought.
It’s so small you can hide it
anywhere! I was able to use this right out of the box, and being able to tell if the coin is heads
or tails just blows people away. I highly recommend this.
Is the app free and what coin did u use?
Yes, the application is free.
Just go to the App Store, search for Hugo Shelley.
The app is free in the app store and I got the addon quarter for the effect.
I got the quarter as well, thanks for your response can't wait to get mine Thursday!
Do u have to receive sixth sense before I get the app? I searched Hugo Shelley and nothing came up.
Is the app available for android devices?
No I believe the app is only for iOS but you dont even need the app to do the effect. You really only use the app to make small changes to the device, but you dont need it.
Please forgive me, but I just dont understand the appeal.... $300 for a "device" to play a grammar school guessing game? -- which you always win and the spectator always loses? Seems a bit underwhelming and overpriced...just my opinion. That $300 would be better spent on something like "The Books of Wonder, or 5 lectures for $99, or something similar where you can get tremendous value AND an education. And what happens after you have done this a few times and someone walks up with THEIR quarter in their hand (or lucky marble or whatever) and wants to play the game with IT? Awkward situation as you then have to switch their normal quarter for the magnetic one....too gimmicky (and $$) for a "so-what" low reaction, "look how cool I am", type of effect, IMHO. Even at $50, still seems too expensive for what little it actually does. Im sure its a cool device, and may be a winner for some folks, but I just dont get the appeal of it, at $300. Seems like the buyer is the only person being "conned".
I think this will be one of those use your imagination type devices.. It's not just a guessing game, its how you present the effect. Like any magic prop or gimmick, use your imagination and you'll have an absolute miracle on you at all times!
Its a great device with much to offer. Not just which coin in hand, heads or tails is awesome. There's so much more you can do beyond your imagination with this, I would give it 6 stars if it let me.
Is it possible to classic palm the device so hands look more relaxed and open
To tlroddey; hi nobody want to know about your monetary or ego situation. We are here to rate and or provide feedback regarding a product, personal experiences (positives or negatives), so based on this, people can make decisions. We are not here to be psychologists.
I purchased this item and love it, highly recommended.
To herreraagustin: Wow, snarky much? Perhaps reading comprehension is not your strong suit. I offered my OPINION on an effect that has a high price tag for limited spectator reaction...specifically so that potential buyers CAN make an informed decision as to the value of their purchase. I mean, really, for the price, how many times can you perform this in front of spectators before it becomes boring? 3x, 5x, 10x in a row, before the yawns start? Your response sounds like a bit of "buyers remorse" to me, thus proving my point. There was no need for you to make it personal. Btw, my ego and my finances are GREAT!! - not that its any of YOUR business. Im happy that you like the product, and I wish you great success with it. After evaluating the price versus the overall effect, its just not my "cup of tea", and Im sure I am not the only one who has that OPINION. If you have been buying magic for very long (30 years in my case), Im sure you, like most of us, have had some "regrettable" purchases. Evaluating an effects impact versus its price, functionality, ease of use, performance requirements, etc are all very valid considerations for any performer before making an "investment", such as this. Perhaps you should check your own ego before being so concerned about others. Much Luck!
Thank you tlroddy for the straight shooter approach. Your comments are appreciated!
I gotta admit, I'm with Tiroddey on this........$3++ for which hand? Come on!
tlroddey,
you're in the wrong place to spew your "HEY! PAY ATTENTION!" style of "complinions"(complaints+opinions)
Go to The Café if you want to complain that much about something you don't own.
And if anyone really thinks this is limited to a which hand trick, they're being obtuse.
Anyone can come up with a long list of reasons why NOT to do/buy something.
The reality is, if you don't get why people are willing to spend their hard earned money on this product, you aren't seeing it from a perspective that allows for a non-biased opinion.
I think it's silly to spend over a million dollars on a supercar, but people do it all the time.
And it's a valid purchase, TO THEM.
Which is one reason I don't go to a McLaren message board and express my thoughts on how silly these people are for buying one(or two).
Actually, I don't need a reason other than common sense, but I feel the need to elaborate, since you don't own this product but still feel you must share your opinion on it.
Especially when it's a utility device that can be used for more than just one routine.
If I used every device/gimmick as advertised, I'd be an "out of the box" magician/mentalist. I'm sure you don't use everything as advertised either. Not with that "doing my own thing" type of mentality.
And just for the hell of it...
"Wow, snarky much? Perhaps reading comprehension is not your strong suit." -tlroddey(who clearly doesn't know the definition of "snarky")
You started off with a personal attack on him, but it backfired.
Glad you have an opinion. Too bad you didn’t realize that I have one too, and was already attacked by someone else for expressing mine. You have missed the point. Are you an “interested party” in the sales of this overpriced pos? That would explain a lot. No wonder it’s now an overpriced sale item. Proves my point, despite your hateful response.
Personally, I use this for a 3 out of 3 which hand, than a 3 for 3 heads or tails. After that, I use it for kerotsuke, and sometimes, to determine the location of 3 hidden object. This takes up about 10-15 minutes of my parkour show, and it’s presented in a very intriguing way. So... yeah, it’s worth it.
Can anyone give more routines for this item before I make a purchase? Thanks in advance if anyone can share a routine...
And crickets...Race, maybe YOU could help them out? You know, since you love it so much...
