I like the Sherpa pen. I like the concept of this prop and what it could allow you to do.
Unfortunately, mine doesn't lock like it should so there's always this "will it or won't it" moment
when using it. I'm sure it's just a problem with mine, but it's something to look out for. When it
works, it's mystifying. When it doesn't, you have to take the pen from the spectator to ditch the
gimmick and then give it back to them. It can be done under the context of shaking it to make it
write or something. Looks normal though so it should slip right by most folks.
Only mental thing about this pen is that you paid 99 dollars...
I, too, like this concept, and I realize that these things must be a pain to construct by hand. But I had the older non-Sherpa version, and after awhile, I had the same problem with the gimmick. Too bad.
I've got the regular edition... Is the method the exact same... I kind of think I read that this is more self working. I bought the original two times I like it so much.. But have to replace again due to losing or breaking the Gimmick... Is that less likely on the sherpa
