The fire kit is a brilliantly thought of and disigned set of gimmicks.
Don't get me wrong. I
love fire kit because it works just like the demo. It's very visual and impressive.
The
reason I can only give 3 stars to the fire kit is because you have to do it as an opener. Fire kit
has to be the first thing you show to your audiance on stage, or else it will not work properly or
not at all. I love this trick but I cannot change my whole act just to use it as an opener.
Technically, it does not have to be done as an opener. I attended Martin’s live lecture last evening and he offered a couple solutions for “maintaining“ the gimmick. For example, covering it in your case with a shot glass. This allows you to use it at anytime during your show.
I really wanted this to work for me!
