When I first saw the illusion I though I knew how it worked, but I didn't. The trick has a clever method that allows one to have full control of the speed of the torn piece while keeping the move very organic. That's what I love about it. You do need some practice, but within 2 hours I was able to master it. Very nice illusion that will give my stage act the touch it was missing.
