I am a big Scott Alexander fan and have several of his releases. This is his variation of the color
changing silks with a multiple-silk revelation at the end and it resets as you perform it. The
routine is good, but I can't say this one is so unique that it merits the extreme price tag. I think
this should be priced under a hundred dollars and it would still be more than fair. You could put
this together yourself for about thirty dollars (which does make creating backups for my stage case,
close-up case, and kids show case much easier). But I am pleased that it does come with all the
props ready to go (after about a five-minute one-time setup) out of the box.
Again, I'm a
big fan of Scott's magic and have a LOT of his releases, but this is one I feel was way overpriced
for what you received. Yes, I understand the desire for exclusivity in magic, and it is six minutes
of magic that resets itself, but it really doesn't feel like it has that "Scott Spin" releases like
"Nailed It", "MIB Unplugged", and even his recent card stab routine "Back Stabber" have. This feels
more like it could have come from a generic beginner's magic video.
Don't judge Scott's
other excellent products by this one.
