I must offer my heartiest congratulations to Scoot Cram and to PenguinMagic. This effect is perfect
for those on the spot situations as long as a deck of cards is within reach. I watched the demo, but
was hesitant at first because I recognized some moves that I was familiar with. I still decided to
get it, and the reactions have been nothing short of fantastic. It also helped reinforce a valuable
principle in magic that magicians tend to forget. That is we should perform for lay people and not
for magicians. Many times we become obsessed with proving to others and ourselves how technically
efficient we are. We must remember to look at tricks from the audiences perspective and if they are
mystified, then our goal is accomplished.
