I have been doing this trick for at least ten years, but I keep buying it over again, because I take
it so many places, I eventually lose it and need another one!
You do not "need" to do an
Elmsley count to perform it, but if you want to be a better magician, definitely learn the count as
it improves the effect higely; (use this trick as your incentive to acquire the skill). IT IS
TOTALLY WORTH THE EFFORT.
This trick (to a lay audience) is a 100% KILLER EFFECT. It moves
in subtle phases, builds in suspense, baffles them at no fewer than three different stages, and the
ending leaves them doubting their own eyes.
It comes with a CD, so you can see lots of
explanations and embellishments.
If you have any inclination to do "really good card
tricks," and you don't have this effect, well, you'll up your game way high with this John Bannon
masterpiece.
