The trailer was intriguing, but thought the price a little high. Nevertheless I splurged. Just got
my Balance and it is everything they advertised. Everything!! is of the highest quality. Be sure and
read the Caveat about viewing the instructional video before opening. The instructions are crisp and
easy to follow, so I am slowly unpacking as I re-watch the video because there are a few things you
want to be familiar with before you begin practicing this. Looking forward to dropping this on the
family first at Christmas. Great job Mr. Jay!!!
Thanks for your review , I showed the trailer to my laymen girlfriend and the first thing she said was magnets or blu tac , hmmm . Its a nice visual puzzle piece but , is this magic?
trailer does not do it justice. if you see it in his penguin live lecture, it will be in a whole different light. and I'd highly recommend coming up with personal patter that relates to YOUR life. it is a beautiful piece of magic. time this with patter and music, and you got yourself a perfect way to close a show.
I have to agree with omz40. I almost bought this twice now, both times I stopped and showed it to non magicians who had the same reactions; "so it's magnets or some kind of sticky stuff right?"
Modern day adult audiences are aware of these principles, so are modern day children, not sure where this will land.
Ok..it would workbetter if it had some wobble....if it coukd fall down..it looks like what it is..a click together toy...at the end you cant topple it over. 200. Really. I wont even comment on the price. After all its a "sculpture."
i guess all of you that have some bad thoughts about this do not know Josh... he's a real creative genius.... you give all the items to inspect before hand... so the audience have no idea... how you do it... and as some one mentioned... the trailer is not a whole show... watch penguin live with josh or at the table at Vanishing page... it is an amazing closer... for sure...i personal will not buy it now since i knot i can't use it because i do not have a real show... do more walk around... but i know that i will buy it eventually...
...gotta agree with omz40...just can't figure exactly where this fits in, especially for the asking price of $250.00. In my opinion, puzzles are not magical, they do create wonder but not like a well executed magic performance...I'm sure he'll sell a bunch of these though, there seems to be a niche for just about anything...doesn't do much for me however...
