Juan is like a mad genius. If you're interested in memorized deck work, and Mnemonica in particular,
his DVDs are a wonderful resource. Sometimes, when you read an effect, it can be hard to imagine how
it might play to an audience, particularly where procedures may seem lengthy or involved in the
text. Juan will show you how they should look in performance, and you will see that they play very
well to an audience when presented properly. I've never used Juan's techniques for memorizing the
stack. I use a memory palace, which I believe to be superior to the methods Juan describes, but he
does provide multiple memorization tools that are workable, and the stack can be learned in a day or
two. If you keep at it daily, you should have it down permanently within a couple of weeks. Pair
Mnemonica with a good marked deck and you will find a whole new world of possibilities. Highly
recommended.
