This easy, ingenious method is one of the best self-levitations I've seen and I've seen a lot! Angles are important, as they usually are in these kind of effects but it looks great if the audience is situated in front of you. Many elf-lev methods require ridiculous, impractical gimmicks or are just not that impressive (Balducci)- this one strikes a nice balance between ease and impact.
