Normally when I see a trick like this advertised I instantly think, looks nice on camera. I bet it
isn’t practical, I bet there is a bunch of arts and crafts and I bet Inwill have to make 30 of them
to get one that works. I’m sure it will break in less than 10 performances, I bet it only looks good
from that exact angle, and this is a 2 second special effect.
I thought the same thing
when I saw the Hybrid trailer.
Turns out this has NONE of those problems. First it’s an
actual routine. There are multiple effects with the super visual hole move happening as the climax
so it lasts longer than 3 seconds. There are zero arts and crafts. And while it can’t be surrounded
the angles for this are very manageable.
The gimmick is clever, well built, and made from a
real dollar bill.
It takes some practice getting the gimmick in the correct position but
otherwise it’s fairly straight forward and as soon as you see the gimmick You can pretty much figure
it out but he has thorough instructions just Incase you can’t. It is a great addition to pen through
bill
The gimmick does require some
Care, not a lot but you should keep it in the bag
it comes in when you aren’t actively using it.
I love this thing. Just watching it in the
mirror is cool.
