Regarding trade shows, this was the most accurate representation of how things work! If you get this lecture in conjunction with Seth's book, "A modern Trade Show Handbook" you will have everything you need to having a career in trade shows. I am just breaking into the trade show market, and I've always understood the idea of how trade show Magicians work and heard a lot about it, but a lot of it just isn't very tangible and so it was hard to conceptualize how it REALLY works. Seth lays it out and shows a solid routine that starts low and builds up high! Really, his routine isn't the most important thing about this, but it's nice to see how he uses fairly common effects and implements a company's message. I urge you to use effects already in your arsenal. He tells you everything you need to know about your set up, which makes your portion in the booth, fairly self working. And make sure to listen at the end when Seth and Dan sit down and talk because that's where a lot of the GOLD is and he tells you his biggest secret in trade shows! Additionally, he tells you how to start the ball rolling and how to market yourself. Take notes!!
