This is a clever method for a card rise. However, It think the name of effect is very fitting. Your
audience, which has to be in front of you, has to be "high" not to notice how the trick is done. I
would not recommend this as a climax to an ambitious card routine- it will have the opposite effect.
Instead card to mouth, card to box, clipped, etc. would be better
Hello,
To use it as an ending to an ambiious card is only a mere suggestion. That's how I do it. I gave you the idea now you run with it and use it in the way you are most confortable with. But to argue against my 20 years of experience with High Rise and say it will have the opposite effect its a bit challenging.
Saying the audience has to be High is also an unprofessional statement. You are entittled to your opinion but the method is extremely deceptive. All other reviews back me out. Im very sorry you dont agree.
Best wishes my friend.
Just because you can't fool YOUR audience, that has no bearing on the value of this trick.
It's a great method, and it would take willful ignorance or missing fingers to screw it up.
Race, please stop attacking reviewers. Adrian is 100% correct that this is a very weak effect. Have you performed it on audiences and been impressed by their reactions? I HIGHLY doubt it.
There is no way that any decent magician isn't already doing stuff 100 times stronger than this in their set.
