Magic Tricks

I have watched about 20 penguin lectures and this is one of the more disappointing ones. This review is not meant to be mean, but to help others make better choices with their money. I would not rec. you spend money on this lecture. Lots of card tricks, some rope stuff, some coin stuff -- nothing really creative, original or blew my mind. In almost every penguin lecture I have watched there are usually a few things that take me by surprise or impress me (regardless if I would do the effects myself.) This lecture was one of the exceptions to that. He is not a sleight-of-hand guy, his misdirection is not good and his false shuffle seem obvious to me. The card magic is not strong. I would look elsewhere to spend your hard-earn money. He seems like a nice guy but you are reading this b/c you want to know if you are going to get your money's worth and the answer is NO. Sorry Tom.
