Magic Tricks

Let me begin by saying that Menny is very good at marketing an effect. You could not avoid seeing this effect in a magazine or trailers from different dealers, and it also had a lot of attention form Murphy's magic as well. However... for me, this is just way to exaggerated! It are all rubberband penetration effects, and to be honest, the only effect where the magician is really interested in, is the effect with the spectator's finger. And let that just be the most 'tricky' one... First of all, it is very angle sensitive! And yes, Menny explains this very well in the DVD, BUT if you don't have the right hands (length of the fingers, thickness of the fleshy parts...) then the set-up for the trick feels very unnatural, and you are going to get caught. As simple as that... And therefore you need to watch over 3 hours of explanations? And for a way to high price! This should definitely have been just a download.
So, if you are looking for strong and sure-fire rubberband magic, you should look for Joe Rindfleish effects. Or another rubberband penetration effect: RUbberband tru hand (Dan Hauss). TThose are way more interesting and suitable for the working pro!
