I’ve shopped with Penguin for years and I’d like to think Penguin realise the customers are a mix of
ages and sizes so would supply large socks that would fit everyone. What’s the point of socks that
only fit children. Wearing the socks is the reveal so I can’t use this as they don’t fit. I’m an
English size 10 and I made the mistake of forcing them on before realising they would be harder to
get off. They’re now ruined. This trick is good if you’ve got small feet but not if you’re an adult
male. The fact the performance is by a male who doesn’t look like a person who wears small sizes
makes this even more frustrating as surely the performer understands the importance of socks that
fit so would have recommended larger sized socks? I won’t be performing this as the reveal loses
it’s impact when I pull out some torn socks from my pocket!! Maybe there’s a joke here about small
feet but I’m not laughing right now.
I agree. The socks are tight on me as well. I just now put them in my waist and pull them out from there. Still gets a nice reaction.
true socks are very small ((
I created a copy based on the purchase, this is the only solution how the trick might work. I opted for even more wacky socks. It's even funnier than the author's.
