Love being the first reviewer for this! I think this is a great trick with a great weird spectator
souvenir (like rejoined)!
Here's my super easy easy no-palm, handling:
Have your
sharpie in one pocket and the g****ck in the other (with the g****ck oriented in a way that the
“first card” will end face up on the deck in the proper orientation).
Use a f***e to give
two cards to two spectators. Get the first card back from the first spectator. Place the card face
up on top of the deck, adjusted the same way as the g****ck, hanging partway off the deck.
Tell the spectator you need to get a sharpie for them to sign their card. Put both of your hands
in your pockets. In one pocket, you should be able to grab the gimmick on top op the deck, and in
the other pocket grab the sharpie, and put out out hands almost instantly at the same time.
Have the first spectator sign "their card", which should appear to be hanging partway off the
top of the deck.
Get the second card back from the second spectator.
Slowly and
clearly show the spectator you are putting their card face down underneath the first card. Tell both
spectators that this is the first time their cards are joining this way. Tilt the deck a little
towards you and boldly push the 2nd card all the way in. You’re basically done. Lift off the top
“two cards” (wink 😉) “together” for a tug of war between the spectators. Put the deck in your
pocket.
If anyone asks the see the deck, you can pull out of your pocket, leaving behind
the top two cards.
Enjoy!
One followup at the end. Before handing out the "cards" for tug of war, flip the "cards over" convincingly holding the two cards together as they would normally come apart, and have the second spectator sign the card first.
I usually grab the cards by the front and flip over front to back.
