I bought the most expensive set of Roys transient line. Whithin a month the gimmicks broke. I
contacted Roy bout replacing the gimmick part of the coins which he said he’d do gladly, but never
got a response on how to pay for them or order them really. I offered Venmo pay pal money order and
no reply.
I really suggest that penguin gets the two things that make each split of the coin
possible as refills. They are cheap enough I’m sure. Without them the price tag on these coins is
just too much for ametuers to play with and too expensive to constantly replace with another full
set even for a working pros repertoire.
I bought these thinking I’d have a prop for life and the
didn’t even function for a season. I still have the coins which are quality but there needs to be a
consumer friendly way to keep theese coins operational and there is Penguin just needs to sell that
special something since Roy’s site doesn’t and he can’t seem to mail the ten dollar replacement kit
he promised.
This sounds like a rare situation. My personal set has been in use for over 3 years with no issues. The beauty of this set is that there is very little that can go wrong which is why it’s my favourite to carry everywhere. If there is a problem with your set, I’m sure I can help you out. Please send an email to my new email; roykuepperslv@yahoo.com so we can sort this out and get that set back in action.
