Thanks for the info on HR's stick being less visible. I agree that with the light at the right angle, you can see a difference in the card's natural sheen with Neo2, i.e. you can see a waxy residue. However, that requires a steep angle with the light coming from a particular direction, which in practice is unlikely to happen and not a real concern. Neo v2 is the most affordable R&S I've found, and works well even though you do have to press very hard and make several passes with it.
