This is a really visual and logical upgrade to Dan Birch's Neon Thru Balloon. It's even licensed
from him, so no buyer regret there.
The construction is cheap. The entire thing is made
from printed plastic. This makes handling it feel weird, and I'm scared that I'll crack the device
if I drop it. On the plus side, the construction does make the entire device very light to carry.
There are tutorial videos online, but the link to them is not clearly marked on the single
page instructions you get with the unit. You have to take a picture of the QR square to find the
tutorials. The silk penetrations you see in the demo are taught in the videos, however you will
require a silk vanishing gimmick which JL doesn't produce anymore.
Overall the effect is
super visual, and the smoke is a beautiful addition. It really gives the sensation that the blade
is super hot. The light is bright enough to be seen even from the back of the room.
Packs small, but plays big. It's exactly as advertised, and construction critique aside I'm very
happy with my purchase.
