This review is based off about 3 weeks of use. The thickness of this pad is great. I find it much easier to pick up off this pad than prior pads. I got mine in black and the color is good. Black of course shows every little speck of fuzz, so I may try a red or green the next time. I don't see this tearing, but I am not sure how it will hold up to rolling and travelling, but I feel it will do better than other thinner pads I have owned.
