I am giving this a 4 only because I wish half of this 47 minute tutorial could be wiped from my
memory, 23 minutes and 30 seconds added back to my life.
Take my advice, don't do what I
did. Fast forward. I don't know what happened during post production, but hire a new editor!
More time could have been spent on technique and variations, than on the painfully obvious. I do
mean painfully obvious. Like taking a strip of paper and writing the same words on it that on on
that on another strip of paper in full view. Is he doing this because there is a switch involved,
it it a gimmick. NO! Its the same f'n strip of paper with the same words on it! How long did that
take something like 15 minutes of my life? You can't make this stuff up.
I like the
effect. I can see using it in any number of ways, but honestly give your audience some credit, even
a 5 year old could have done without all that.
Skill level since the tutorial was
obviously made for a 3 year old - NONE. The ghost of Mr. Rogers haunts this tutorial. Can you say
'Buzzwords?' I thought you could!
BTW - for the overtly serious minded. This was written in
jest. You have to have a sense of humor to navigate the day sometimes.
