You probably won't find a more powerful ESP deck than this one, in view of the clever marking system
it has, the extra gaff cards, and the terrific instruction that comes with it. Besides the usual
ESP symbols, each card also has a word and image, and you'll get all the tools you need to divine
these easily.
But this won't suit everyone in view of how thematically "dark" it is.
Many of the cards have apocalyptic and religious overtones that I'm not comfortable with (e.g.
Exorcist, Satanic, Devil, Ouija, Crucifix, Horsemen), and are combined with very sinister artwork
that borders on the disturbing and inappropriate. There may be contexts in which this will work,
but I think that this dark focus limits its practicality. I may be in the minority, but despite the
powerful tool this can be, unfortunately this is definitely not for me.
It literally shows you the demonic cards in the trailer. How many bad reviews on this site are going to be for obvious things they tell you before purchasing that are now "not my style"? You said the effect is "powerful" and "terrific instructions", that is what these reviews are for. Unless they had hidden that "dark" factor from the ad it shouldn't come into play at all.
Yet, the author gave an honest review. Albeit one you did not agree with, clearly. I found his review useful and, after all, that's what reviews are for. Or did I miss something?
